Zac Willette, MDiv BCC wears two hats and is excited to join host Ken Haglind on “Living Healthy and Aging Well” to explore both of them. First, he is a board certified hospice chaplain who helps patients and their families grapple with the big juicy questions we can’t avoid at end of life. “Who am I now that I can’t do what I’ve always done?” Second, he studies burnout and teaches stamina. He helps us see that caregiver exhaustion and other forms of early burnout are not character flaws because we lack resilience, they are system flaws because we lack interdependence. Zac has lived and worked on 4 continents (including Antarctica) and loves to teach and write and listen.
