Lachelle Semanko, Executive Director of Rein in Sarcoma, joins Ken Haglind, host of “Living Healthy and Aging Well” radio show, to talk about sarcomas, an uncommon and often misdiagnosed group of bone and soft tissue cancers that strike children and adults. Since 2001, Rien in Sarcoma has funded many research projects towards developing new treatments and finding cures for sarcomas cancers. This is just one part of their three-pronged mission to eliminate sarcomas. This mission includes education programs to increase awareness, and supportive events to provide connections between sarcoma patients, survivors, and those who have lost a loved one to sarcoma.
